Forumotion.com is NOT vBulletin, even though the formatting is similar and the features can be made to look alike. However, for some, Forumotion can be a pain in the proverbial ass whenever trying to copy/paste something or what-not. I noticed that whenever a user on a another Forumotion forum tried to copy an article over, the text's format went all out of shape and ended up chopping his lines early rather than stretching them to the margin of the post.
I noticed that this was a similar issue whenever I launched the RAP forums, but it eventually went away due to what I thought was a simple update by our provider. But I was wrong, as we all tend to be on occasion. However, after doing some experimenting, I found out that it wasn't a providor error, nor was it a browser error. It was the WSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) Advanced Editor function. All of you have used this before, but the name may seem unfamiliar. To explain it simply: whenever you have that /A button on when typing your posts (in the tool bar) then whatever you type is instantly converted into what will be displayed, rather than making you type in all of that BBC for formatting and fine-tuning.
Apparently, the format likes to jack up whenever you copy/paste something (primarily text) with this editor tool enabled and then proceed to post. So, as a recommendation before making future posts, make sure that the WSIWYG button is turned OFF before posting if you have pasted something in your post from your clipboard. Otherwise, you'll screw up that entire format (but only the text that was pasted into the post; the rest of the publication [the stuff you inserted yourself] will be just fine).
